Allegories 

My work always revolves around the shared conditions of humanness, and I like to challenge the notions that are familiar to us.
The tenebrous  pieces, merge everyday figures of different ethnicities in a time period they normally would not belong. The works are a juxtaposition of contemporary portraiture (used as cultural allegories) with baroque lighting and a touch of different styles such as surrealism and Ukiyo-E.
